Abstract. The current paper deals with the crucial information-law issues associated with the development and widespread implementation of artificial intelligence in the transport sector. There has been substantiated the necessity to develop and employ mechanisms for the legal regulation of relations involving the use of unmanned vehicles in the context of accelerating digital transformation. At present there is a particular need to legislatively regulate social relations involving risks and threats, to ensure identification and authentication within the information systems of the transport sector, and to strengthen liability for potential harm or damage caused by the use of unmanned transport vehicles.

The current paper has been prepared as part of the State assignment FMUZ-2024-0035 “The Enforcement of Digital Sovereignty and Information Security through Legal Means”.
